Synopsis

Nature and biodiversity are coming to the forefront of ESG topics as companies, investors, and other stakeholders begin to recognize biodiversity loss as the “other” systemic risk, one that is intricately connected to climate change. The world appears to be mobilizing to address the extremely complex task of identifying, assessing, and managing biodiversity risks and opportunities, and reporting on them in an efficient and decision-useful manner, with initiatives such as the post-2020 global biodiversity framework coming out of the COP 15 to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD). This webinar will shed light on what companies will be required to ‘do’ and ‘say’ in responding to evolving stakeholder expectations.
