Philippe Peuch-Lestrade
Philippe is a former Strategic Senior Executive to the IIRC and a former Partner at Ernst & Young. He was an advisor to La Poste, Areva, the European Union, the French Ministry of Finance and the Cour des Comptes. Philippe has led research groups for the Association of Chartered Accountants and launched the French Association for Audit Development.
He has been a professor of Public Finance at the Paris University and published technical books such as ‘The French Reference Book on Accounting’, ‘Mastering Environmental Challenges’, ‘Internal Audit within Local Governments’ and ‘Guide to Auditing’.
Philippe is a Master of Literature, has a Post Graduate Diploma in Political Economy, was a member of the French Oversight Committee of the public rules and was, until December 2011, the Global Government and Public Sector Leader for Ernst and Young. He was previously the Financial Services Leader in France and Continental Western Europe Area. Philippe is a Chevalier of the Legion of Honour.
Andy Chisholm
Andy spent most of his career at Goldman Sachs & Co, after graduating with an MBA from Ivey Business School in 1985 and a BComm from Queen’s University in 1981. He was based in London and New York during his 30-year career, where he served Goldman in a variety of progressively more senior leadership roles including as Senior Strategy Officer of the firm globally from 2012 - 2014, as Head or co-Head of the Global Financial Institutions Group from 2002 - 2012, and as co-Chair of the Firmwide Commitments Committee (primarily overseeing the firm's equity underwriting activities) from 2011 - 2015. He was a partner for 16 years.
Andy is now a member of the Board of Directors of Royal Bank of Canada (chairing the risk committee), as well as that of its US Holding Company.
He acted as a member of the Canadian Federal government’s Expert Panel on Sustainable Finance and subsequently of the Task Force for Resilient Recovery. He is a member of the Advisory Board for the Institute for Sustainable Finance at Queen’s University and Chairs the Centre for Building Sustainable Value at the Ivey Business School.
He also Chairs the Board of Evergreen Brickworks, which is focused on sustainable urban public space/placemaking. He is a Board Member of MaRS, a Canadian innovation hub for Cleantech, biotech, and other areas. He invests in numerous early-stage cleantech companies and sits on the Investment Committee of and advises ArcTern Ventures, a cleantech VC.
He now lives in Toronto with his family.
Monique Leroux
Companion of the Canadian Business Hall of Fame (2018) (CBHF) and the Investment Industry Hall of Fame (IIAC), Monique Leroux is a corporate director. She is Senior Advisor (Non-Executive) of Fiera Capital and serves as an independent board member of global companies such as Michelin, BCE/BELL, COUCHE-TARD and Lallemand Inc (privately owned company). She also chairs Michelin’s ESG Committee as well as Bell’s Corporate Governance Committee. As such, she contributes her broad international business experience as Partner of Ernst and Young (EY), Chair of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Desjardins Group and Chair of the Board of Investissement Québec.
In May 2020, Ms. Leroux was appointed Chair of the Industry Strategy Council by the Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry of Canada. She is a member of the G7 Impact Taskforce representing Canada. She is also vice-chair of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra (OSM), Chair of the Board of Conservatoire de musique et d'art dramatique du Québec and Chair of Governance committee of Université de Sherbrooke.
Ms. Leroux is a Member of the Order of Canada, an Officer of the Ordre national du Québec, a Chevalier of the Légion d’honneur (France) and a recipient of the Woodrow Wilson Award (United States). She has been awarded Fellowship by the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec and the Institute of Corporate Directors and holds honorary doctorates and awards from ten Canadian universities in recognition of her contribution to the business sector and to the community. She is also a Director Emeritus and was a member of the Executive Committee of the Rideau Hall Foundation. She has also published 3 books.
